I NEED YOU TO KNOW SOMETHING...

If the weight of your journey has seemed more than you can bear lately, please, hold on.

I need you to remember that you did not come this far to fail. Yes, there have been challenges along the way that have tested you, but they have not BESTED YOU.

Even when the coldness of the world seems to creep under your skin, stiffen and press on your character, hold on. No matter what you are going through, whatever mountain you are attempting to get over, all I'm asking you to do is to believe that you will make it.

Sometimes we can't see the end of the journey and truth be told... we never do. But what we can do is BELIEVE. Believe that everything necessary to strive, survive and stay alive is already in you, But more than that... THE POWER TO SUCCEED IS ALREADY YOURS.

I'm not saying it will be easy. trust me, | know it won't. But I also know if you stay the course, if you persevere in the heart of the storm, you WILL come out on the other side. Not just because I believe it, but because I did.

You can pay attention to the misery being spread around every corner, give heed to every fear in your bones, and cower in the face of ignorance and hate and all that seeks to destroy you... or you can stand. You can rise. You can Believe.

Like the song says, "Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man that he didn't already have."

So... y'all ready? 'Cuz the world needs Soldiers with Shoulders for folks to lean on. Let's go be Heroes (and if you can't see a Blessing, then be a Blessing).
